As much as I admire hodgson as a manager he was on hiding to nothing going to Liverpool no matter the state of the place at the moment Liverpool are a big club and bringing in a manager who in my opinion did a great job at fulham to manage them was not what the scousers are used to especially when you consider the pedigree of Benitez, houllier etc
