I am going to book a holiday next year for the good wife and myself, to be fair we are not frequent travellers and have only ever been to Spain ( 3 times ) and Greece once. When we went to Greece we stopped in a resort called Tingaki in Kos and it was perfect for us. Kids have grown up now so it is just the two of us. we are looking for somewhere similar that offers a quiet holiday, close to the beach with plenty of bars and place to eat close by.

We are not into clubbing until all hours but do like to go out and have a few drinks, night markets etc.. looking to stay in Europe and somewhere hot and relaxing.

Anyone have any suggestions?

I havent been but a few suggestions Gilbraltar (English speaking), Java near Valinenca in Spain I know you will 100% like it there, Paxos a greek island maybe.

Nerja is nice. About 50 miles east of Malaga and it's a decent size town but nice, quiet with plenty of bars & restaurants. Nice place to wander round in the evening and some nice beaches.

me and the missus all inclusive 10 nights , flights and transfers = £504

i drank that in about 3 days!

quality and cost me and the missus 8 quid on the train to barcelona and walked round nou camp for 22 euros a peice. quality.

I have just come back from Skala (stayed at the San Georgio). We last went there 8 years ago and it has improved immensely with a new 5 star hotel and a hotel for couples (no kids allowed). It is a great place, lots of quality tavernas, always hot and some good days out and you can lap the island in a day in the car. highly recommended. Our favourite Greek Island by far.
