We rented an apartment, part of a big house that had 4 accommodations and it's own pool. I think it was called Tria Residencies. That was about £1300 for a fortnight. We found eating out and drink to be very reasonable and certainly cheaper than here especially if you're happy with carafes of house wine. The water was very clear, as it was at other places along the coast. We hired a car for 3 days and got out and about a fair bit. We would certainly go back.

South Korea mid October
Looking at Seoul with a trip to the the DMZ .
Then train to Busan, no Zombies hopefully .
Then unsure, so if anyone has any pointers, also thinking of a few nights in Macau on the return.

That's probably going to change. It used to be a country with a population of 800k and some of the most unspoilt rain forest in S.America,
now it's a country with a population of 800k, some of the most unspoilt rain forest in S.America, and 5.5 billion barrels of oil.

I saw a program with Simon Reeve. I'd like to go before it changes. Possibly take in French Guiana as well as that's in the EU.
 
My wife has just got her wings back after almost ten years of fear of flying.Went to Albufiria in May, I'm looking to take her to Seville in mid November (not too longer flight) Never been there, anyone with suggestions where to stay in the city, and place's to visit.Thanks

Manchester airport is the pits for sure. I'm not so sure the staff are to blame, almost everytime I have used it they are massively understaffed. From confusing crap signage, none of those escalator walkways ever working and the rip of £4 charge for somebody to drop you off or pick you up it really is depressing. That's even before we mention the wait at security, immigration and for your baggage I've no idea how the CEO's keep their jobs.

I’m going to a family place in Pineda de Mar, planning on visiting Barcelona Girona and a few other places, the train runs right past the hotel along the coast, what are the prices like?

Very expensive mate, our apartment in Barcelona is £680 fir 5 nights, a lot cheaper up the coast to Lloret de Mar and Girona ..
We may end up there at some point.. Will be on the train for the whole time until we reach Madrid and fly home ..

Best city I've visited. Things really worth seeing include:-

Plaza de Espana
Real Alcazar
Catherdral and Giralda
Metropol Parasol
Parque Maria Luisa
