Soz if posted, couldn't find it, did make me smile...

Blackpool manager Ian Holloway has praised his side’s midweek opponents, saying he’d love to one day emulate the Reds’ success. Holloway went on to say that even Manchester United’s Sir Alex Ferguson hasn’t quite yet surpassed Liverpool’s fame and success.

“I want to make Blackpool as famous, if not more famous, which is going to be impossible because even Fergie hasn’t done that yet, he hasn’t quite beat Liverpool yet,” Holloway said ahead of tomorrow’s clash between the Seasiders and Kenny Dalglish’s Liverpool.

Many of his comments are ill thought out/not thought out. Fortunately, he has some humour so most tend to forgive him. To me, he's just a thick footballing dickhead.
He's marginally more tolerable than the ubiquitous 'opeless 'arry rentaquote Rednapp - his incessant droning - about his players, every body else's players, and now the triffic influence which is (come in 77 your time is up) Saint David Beckham of England - is killing me. I feel my life force drain as soon as his baggy twitchy face appears - and sadly, I've just got a 50" HD TV. Me and the dog jump behind the settee hiding in fear as soon as he appears.

I think Holloway is an awesome guy, personally. Really doesnt bow down to anyone, doesnt take shit and you can clearly see that in how his team play. His halftime talks must be hilarious aswell. Really motivational to see how far hes come with a team like Blackpool.

Looks like a really sound guy, wish there were more people like him in the managerial world. Him and Mancini are the most easy going and generally cool people in the prem manager circles, hands down.

why is there so much hate for Holloway, the guy is class. I'd rather listen to him every week than people like Wenger and bacon face

He's always got an opinion on something , even if it's nothin' to do with his club ....

but in fairness he's done brilliantly in getting Blackpool into the Premiership , and he spoke well of us after their defeat at COMS recently.
