I'd have no qualms at all going into the season with Denayer, Lopes and Kelechi as full members of the squad. Doubt Fofana would offer a whole lot less than Delph either (he runs around a lot, relatively quickly)

I'm much more concerned with the 17 foreign players than any random HG players to fill in the squad. Get the 17 right, to go with Hart, Clichy, Lopes, Denayer, Kelechi and hopefully Sterling, then see if we need anything else to fill out any weak spots.

We already have 4 CBs and Denayer is u21 so doesn't count towards the foreign player cap.

There's no point in literally just getting players because they are HG. They need to be in positions where we have an opening.

Cresswell wpuld have been a good one, but that ship has sailed.

Cresswell could still be signed it just would cost a bit extra. Might take 15 mil or something like that. I think Austin would make a degree of sense as a 3rd striker. youngish, goals in the PL and wouldnt cause too much of a fuss if he didnt play every week, even if the media would.

Stones is a good shout, but would mean one of our other cb's would be moved on. Maybe give denayer another loan out and then bring him back to replace demichelis the following season
