Saw this yesterday and found it pretty shocking. Can’t quite believe this type of thing is still happening in 2019. Glad to hear they’ve arrested the little twats who did it.

Homophobic ones, although I get the feeling that if it were two men they'd have just jumped straight to attacking them.
 
Remember that thread we had on here a couple of months ago concerning the teaching of LGBT subjects in schools? And remember how there were a large number of posters who were against such teachings in schools? And notice how the kids who carried out this hate crime were between the ages of 15 and 18?

I absolutely agree with you, but the best chance you have of educating someone is before they become set in their ways - ideally when they're children. Hate crimes are always avoidable tragedies with origins going back years. If you get these 15-18 year olds when they're even younger and tell them that LGBT people are perfectly ordinary human beings who deserve as much love and respect as anybody else then this type of attack has less chance of happening. That's not say it wouldn't happen - as you say, some people are unfortunately born broken in such a way that they believe the answer to the world's ills is to attack minorities - but I believe the frequency would decrease.

It was more than a homophobic attack, these 2 women were also robbed, which was probably the culprits main motivation. Won't be the first people these scrotes have robbed or mugged either.

Society is full of these fuckers "any excuse" is used by them to do what they do
Bring back the birch and watch how quickly the streets become a little safer
Some of the scrotes that populate our country can't and won't be taught so they should be dealt with in only terms they understand
