Honeytrap.

A lad I know has just fallen victim to a "honeytrap". Not a professional one, just a mate of his girlfriend doing her a "favour". He was out in town with a couple of his mates last weekend and a good looking girl kept looking over at him and smiling. When he went to the bar, she went over to him, started chatting him up and flirting, making it obvious that she was his if he wanted her.
She suggested that he tells his mates that he could see them another time and they could go off somewhere else together. When he said he would, she told him she was just going to the toilet, would be back in a minute and then they'd go. While she was gone, his girlfriend walked in and obviously his first thought was to get her out of there before the other girl came back. He asked her what she was doing there and said he was just about to leave and go back home and tried coaxing her out. His girlfriend said she'd rather have a drink first and then go back.
He then saw the other girl coming back from the toilet and decided that whatever she says, he'll deny everything and hope for the best. The other girl never even looked at him and just walked straight past them but as she was passing, my mate's girlfriend said to her "thank's Lisa". He knew then that he'd been set up. His girlfriend must have been waiting outside or near by and her mate will have rang her from the bogs to tell her that he was up for it. If this kind of thing becomes a trend, I wonder how many of us would get caught out?

So are you still with her or has she dumped you?
It's not me. Honestly, it's not. I've not spoke to him for a couple of days but it's an on-going situation with her slagging him off for preparing to cheat on her and him calling her devious, underhand and sly. He's only been seeing her for a couple of months and that forms part of his defence, that it's not like they were married or anything. I've told him he might as well call it a day with her because every argument they have in future, it will be thrown back in his face.

Serves him right, no sympathy for him. He was obviously prepared to cheat on her and must have done so in the past for her to be suspicious. Hope she dumped him.

You're jumping to conclusions, he might have said to the girl that he'd go off with her but he hasn't done anything. For all you know when the girl came back from the bogs he might have told her he wasn't interested. Some people just enjoy the chase. Now if he'd gone off with her and the girlfriend had caught them in the next bar acting more than just friendly then it's a different story.

Most blokes would fall for that. He's better off without her. You telling me the majority of girls wouldn't do the same ? Depends how fit/rich they are I suppose.

The problem with us blokes is we are stupid and fit birds do strange things to our heads.
So all I do is avoid these situations at all costs and limit my drinking on nights out

I dont think they could be sure of his intentions until he was smashing her back doors in

A couple of months? Fucking hell, the suspicious woman. She will be on the spinsters shelf in a few years.

So what happened later? Did he;

a) Say sorry, take her home and smash her back door into oblivion?
b) Go after her mate Lisa for a chance at her?
c) End up going home on his own, knowing from now on he'll only be choking his turkey,if he's lucky?

OP what happened.
