Hong Kong multiple tower block fires.

It's tragic but it sounds as if it was more to do with the netting and substances that they put inside it than the scaffolding. I lived in HK for quite a bit and bamboo scaffolding is the norm.

They are in the process of getting rid of it, once that fire took hold and how close the other buildings were no way you are stopping it, Grenfell would’ve been the same had there been more block nearer.

What a horrible tragedy god only knows how many families have been directly affected by this.

Looking at the buildings and how close they are to each other you call imagine how wind and heat could play a huge roll in spreading the fire, now they are saying that the smoke detectors weren't working.

In every tragedy it always seems to be stuff like this comes out after the fact.

Meanwhile has anyone been arrested for Grenfell 8 years on?
It a disgrace mate, that Netflix documentary was harrowing. The fact that Firefighters had to explain their actions for risking their lives, and following fire protocol orders to tell people to stay put because they believed that UK building regs would stop the fire spreading enough for them to get everyone out is shameful. They knew that the fire should not have spread that fast, but still went in!

America celebrate their fire fighters as heroes, For some reason this country questions them, and does it's best to find a loophole to blame them to prevent companies they employed from being prosecuted!

The fire brigade did give it the okay on the safety checks so fucked up big time.

More meetings and reviews before that happens, maybe wait for the top culprits to die before anything comes out about it.
Watch the Netflix documentary on it made. Lord Eric Prickcles, the former housing secretary, was giving evidence at the inquiry, and incorrectly claimed that their was 96 victims instead of 72. He apologized for confusing it with Hillsborough (97 people had died by then). How can someone give evidence on a tragedy, when they wasn't there and couldn't even be arsed finding out which tragedy they were giving evidence to a public inquiry? They literally could have asked Stevie Wonder or someone in North Korea what they saw? You cant be a witness, surely if you wasn't there!
