Hooliganism and Violence Maine Road 80's/early 90's

Johnny Khan was from Langley/Middleton
When I followed City in the mid 70's everyone mentioned paki...and said he had a stall in the underground market.

I saw him a few times in the Kippax......I never knew him just his reputation.

Years later I was told he was Johnny Khan....amazing how these stories go round

We used to frequent the Platt Lane end on occasions, around the 73/74 season, with Bulldog and a few of his mates, we used to pretend we were the away fans to attract any what may have been in there, crazy days.

Nope , 2 different people . I’ve known Paki most of my life , Paki is an Irish lad from Moss Side goes everywhere with City , Khani was an Indian lad who did indeed run on the pitch at Leeds , last time I saw him was when we moved to the Etihad , was driving a Blue& white Rolls Royce .
Fair enough, I only ever knew him as John the Paki, sound lad back then, that day at Leeds he came out of the Kop with about 10 others and strolled across the pitch, cool as you like.
