Keep the title, do ourselves justice in the CL and FA cup and give the kids some experience in the league cup.

Being a gambling man i never thought we would ever be that short at the start of a season..
I'd take winning the prem for a couple more years then proper go for the champions league...Balti said:The cookie monster said:11/8 favs to win the league, could turn out to be a good price.

11/8 looks good.
Expect another two horse race but hopefully our away form will be better next season and we will win it again.
Final stages of the Champions League is a must now.
A cup final would be a bonus.

In the first place, you can almost guarantee that we'll be in the worst 'group of death' imaginable: something like Barcelona, City, Juventus and Borussia Dortmund.
This season's experiences will definitely help. OK, we got 10 points - which would normally be enough to get out of the group stage - but we could have had more points (and we could just as easily have had less points).
Napoli at Home: we played into their hands and, although we could have easily won the game, we left ourselves wide open to their counter attacks.
Bayern Away: two clear penalties (on Silva and Richards) not given. Their first goal was at the near-post and should have been defended better, but once the second went in (after two great saves by Joe Hart) it was all over.
Villarreal at Home: we probably underestimated them and nearly paid the price. Agüero's last-minute winner was a real bonus.
Villarreal Away: a comfortable win, to be honest.
Napoli Away: exactly the same as the home game: we played into their hands and, although we could have easily won the game, we left ourselves wide open to their counter attacks.
Bayern at Home: ok, they rested some of their players, but we still beat the potential 2012 champions. If only Villarreal had managed to hold out against Napoli.
All the above should help us next year, but we need to be a bit more tactically aware when we play in Europe. You get punished if you're not careful.
Let's hope that we can get through the group stage next year. Then, as Chelsea have proved, everything is possible.
