I went to a wedding where one of the DJ'd the night (good friends with the Bride & Groom), never heard of them before that night, bought their albums after, quite good!!

Shows how out of touch I must have become as I only discovered these last night. I knew a few of the tunes but never knew they were by Hot Chip. I was looking at New Order stuff and stumbled across a gig they did in Paris last year. I must admit that they have blew me away a bit and I have given their albums a listen today. I hear more of a New Order influence in the music than I do any of the influences the OP stated, in fact I would go as far as their sound is more like the 1st two Electronic albums. Either way I am glad to have found them

that was a great gig, was surprised when lcd came on first mind as I was at the bar.....Top night
