why don't you try Ribby Hall holiday village mate, great for the nippers and only a few miles out of Blackpool which can get abit rowdy of a weekend.

Been there 4 times with family and it is fantastic!!! If you can get a good deal, the family will love it!!

£35 is best price for b&b we can get for one nite in blackpool!! Everywhere we've tried has said they will only take a 2 nite booking!! this seems a bit pricey for blackpool for just one nite,,,,does anyone know any other better deals?

Try this i use it a lot.

For the o.p. there is a premier inn on the Yeadon Way (the road that leads direct off the M55 into the town). it still has family rooms available for next sunday for £63. Its a 10 min stroll to the ground in 1 direction and a similar distance to the pleasure beach the other way.

There are literally hundreds of decent hotels and b and b's around Lytham Road that are a stones throw away from Bloomfield road.

Pubs wise, the away fans recently have adopted the Old Bridge House on lytham Road and the Manchester pub (corner of Lytham Road and the prom) but they are subject to large and heavy handed Police presence. Blackpool fans use the Auctioneer (lytham road) so thats one to avoid.

If anyone needs any info, just give me a shout.....im exiled on the Fylde coast

-- Sat Oct 09, 2010 9:14 pm --

For the o.p. there is a premier inn on the Yeadon Way (the road that leads direct off the M55 into the town). it still has family rooms available for next sunday for £63. thanks for all the hints , most hotels dont do family rooms for 5 but found one that costs £150 for the night - this seasons mantra is :- keep the wife and kids happy= Brownie points , Brownie points = european away trips - it'll all be worth it in Dublin
