Need one , just wondering if anyone has installed their own.
Not looking for anything fancy couple of sensors and an alarm
On bit of a budget at the min with moving into new property

If your on a tight budget then Yale kits are a good deal. Room sensors and a door point. Doddle to fit too.
If you just want basic protection put a dummy box up front and rear and bung a Tapo C220 internal cam protecting your internals. No cloud contract needed as you can use a storage card with notifications. If you get a decent Sandisk card you can leave it on constant record, a 128gig card should let you get a week before it rewrites.

Or

Dummy boxes circa £30 with Tapo C220 £20 and a Sandisk high end ultra £25.99 for a 128gig.

Fitted wireless systems are around the £750 and upwards mark dependant on devices attached.
Our home system was £600 11 years ago and still working sweet. Just yearly battery replacement and we had to change the main control unit battery as they tend to have a life span of around 6 years.
