Because the security is ridiculous in places like Italy to keep the fans apart. Went to Italy as a teenager with school we bagged tickets for AC Milan V Atalanta. We all met at the Underground station to find the police had blocked the road they unloaded the Atalanta fans surrounded them marched them onto the train then a full 10 minutes after they had left opened the road to allow us to get a train. English fans have the reputation but it is totally undeserved compared to our friends on mainland Europe and it annoys me when it is called "the english disease"IrishMacca said:I don't understand what's wrong with some English fans, and a lot of fans in parts of Europe, why is it that ye can't go anywhere without causing some sort of brawl, and other supporters can.
I've been to OT with 9,000 City before and there's been no problems at all. Perhaps a Cup semi - where so much is at stake is a bit different to a usual game. The 1st leg which wont be decisive should be OK, it's the 2nd game where the tension will be highestmcfcliam said:I can see normal allocations at both grounds.
Can't see them letting 5,000 United into Eastlands and 9,000 City into Old Trafford.
