How are you getting to Paris?

Our rules on alcohol
To make sure everyone's safe, happy and healthy, we've got some rules around how much alcohol you can travel with.

Just to let you know, Eurostar reserves the right to confiscate and destroy any alcohol carried in excess of these limits, without any liability to you. We also have the right to refuse to allow (or to refuse to continue to allow) access to our services if a traveller’s physical or mental state is affected by alcohol or drugs.

Normal Eurostar train
  • 12 bottles or cans of beer or 6 bottles of wine or 3 bottles of spirits per traveller
  • If you’d like to take extra alcohol with you, you can – just use Eurodespatch our registered luggage service if you’d like to bring some home
Ski trains during the day
  • 4 bottles or cans of beer or 1 bottle of wine. No spirits are permitted
Night trains (including our overnight direct ski train) or when we’re taking lots of travellers to or from a sports event
On these journeys, we don't sell alcohol on board or allow travellers to bring their own alcohol with them. Any alcohol is confiscated during check-in and only non-alcoholic drinks in sealed bottles are allowed to passthrough security at your departure station.
Last time I went on the night ski train the bar was open until midnight and then we drank our own booze in there till 2am

Does anyone know when the points from the upcoming home games go into your account? I've got 14,980 so need the extra twenty to put me up into the next category.

PSG home leg tickets- money out this Monday. points shouldn't be far behind. Chelsea away tickets on sale Wednesday, points on straight away.

Going with flyb Tues. 13:25, overnight Hotel Victor Hugo, 2 miles from Ground, £42.. Return Thurs. morning 07:20. Flights £190.

Me too! Desperate for a ticket now! Do you know the state of the trains to get back?
Don't know mate. But I'm thinking of crashing at a mates who lives in Paris or in a hotel room with mates going over just for the game, then get an early train back to the family in Eurodisney on Thursday morning

Match won't finish until 10.30 French time. We'll probably get kept behind for at least 30 mins so it will be getting on for midnight before catching a train back, might as well stay out for a few beers

Cheers. Forgot that it would be a late finish as well. That might scupper my plans!

Living in Kent, Paris is an easier journey than the Etihad! Eurostar from Ashford International in under 2 hours. Hotel near Arc de Triomphe for 1 night. Fantastique!
