How bothered are you about the FA Cup this season?

best cup competition in the world... the pain when you get knocked out, is unbearable. semi - final at wembley, is a bit shit tho.

When did I say I'd given up? The maths state that we could win every single game between now and June and it still might not be enough. The OP is a question, not a fact.

Enormous overreaction.

I'm not writing us off at all, just saying that the FA Cup is a competition where we will always be in control of our final position while the Premier League is no longer so.

As it happens I still believe we can win the league and have said so many times on this forum. All I'm saying is that I believe the FA cup is the most winnable title this season.
That last comment sounds much better and much more positive. It'll do for me

I want to win it along with any major trophy. I take it all those who aren't bothered wouldn't want tickets for the final should we get there then?

Wouldn't ever say I'm not bothered about any competition...those dismissing the League Cup probably celebrated just as much as everybody else when we won it.

Then again, the FA Cup is overrated in my view and shouldn't be treated with any less or more respect than the League Cup.

Winning any of the main competitions (PL, CL, FA, LC, EL) is an excellent achievement for any side in this growing competitive football climate.

Winning it in '69 is one of my earliest sporting memories (on TV) losing in '81 one of my least favourite, and winning in 2011 one of my favourites. I'd love to win it again. Having said that I can understand why our managers rest players for Cup matches when we have fixture congestion or vital matches shortly after.
