About right as far as I'm concerned and as for us being a stronger team on paper lol, I think you have some very blue tinted bins on there. I think the only of our players that would get in their side would be Bellers, Given (but only just) and maybe Robinho on reputation and the fact Babel is shit. I think a lot of our fans really are deluded, we have nobody at the level of the likes of Gerard, Tores and Mascherano.
The bookies are usually right!

So the fact that Barry was wanted by their manager means nowt then?

Toure wouldnt get near their side?

SWP cant add anything to what they have?

And please dont tell me Benitez wouldnt be interested in getting Stevie Ireland down the East Lancs.

Tevez was no doubt on their shopping list.

They defo wouldnt say no to Robinho as well.

Sometimes I think City fans fail to see what we DO have.

Turning all of that into a team may take a bit more work but the players are in place.

I'm talking of starting 11's not squads, Liverpool didn't buy Barry, if they had he wouldn't have been a first team regular unless playing on the left. On paper we have a better squad but their first eleven shits all over ours. I gave Bellamy a start over Kuyt, there is no way any of our other strikers are better than Tores. None of our midfileders get in ahead of Gerard and Mascherano, Babel is shit so Robinho gts in but on the right Yosi is far better than SWP and bang in form. They have better full backs , there may be an arguement for one centre half spot for Toure but it's pushing it. In a one off game starting 11's are what counts not squads!
 
Probably because Liverpool very rarely get beat at Home in the leauge. They've been beat of Villa this season at home but apart from that how many times have they lost at home over the past couple of seasons? Theres also the fact that we've not won any of our last 4 away games in the leauge

Been there done that. Every time I bet big money on city they let me down.

Against Liverpool even if SG was missing I still wouldn't put money on a city win, even at odds of 5.1.
 
feel a bit ripped off that corals only gave me 5/2 :(
