You only have to show that you're heading in the right direction to pass FFP I believe. So say we lose 135m one year, 115m the next, then 100m the next, we're showing a pattern of improvement and that is what they want.

Also we have sponsorships (several new ones), an improved kit deal coming, and the previously elusive Champions League revenue that will improve our finances. And also we'll finally clear a lot of deadwood on big wages out in the next 3 transfer windows through sales or contract expirations.

or just copy and paste what this gentleman as posted.

Done that, he's said its incorrect

just ignore him then, he's obviously one of those thick fuckers who will dismiss anything you say.

just smile and tell him there's a storm coming.

Just tell him of course its incorrect because the media say so, then ask him how a club in massive debt are going to meet the rules?

Cleary he is a cock who has to much time on his hands. And reading that what a previous poster stated is true. As long as we are going in the right direction to reduce it is true, and on the other side players bought before a certain year wages are taken into account so for scum that spells bad news as all there big spending was done before they sold there arse to washed up greedy yanks. So tell him to worry about his club And we will worry about ours

Just point him in the direction of the men running the club who have more business know how in their right bollock than the guy you are speaking to will ever have.

This financial year our turnover will probably be around £225m. Next season it will be at least £50m higher and the season after that it will get close to matching theirs at around £300m plus. Wages will level off by about £25m a year and player amortisation will reduce by about £50m a year.

So that's revenue up by about £120m and expenses down by about £75m giving a net improvement of around £200m.
