Too much subtlety for some.If only the OP had asked where do we fit him in and not how?
Too much of a rush to get the smart comments in :)

I see the argument for the cameo role, and that makes most sense to me.You only have to see the cameo appearance against Newcastle to see how he would fit in. He improved our attack no end in a short spell where he was involved in four good chances in 15minutes.
Look at the Marseille cameo - he popped up to feed off a goalkeeper mistake and score with his first touch.
His one touch play in and around the box is only bettered by a few in world football. There’s rarely any falling over his own feet or running the ball into defenders legs like you get from some of our other players (on a regular basis, even when they’re supposedly having a good game). Everything is much cleaner and precise when he’s up front for us, with better finishing than anyone else in the league.
A fully fit Mendy is still our most system orientated fullback.Mendy???

Only if you consider his best ever form for which you have to look back 3 years. I’d have Cancelo ahead of him with Walker on the right. I’d also put Zinchenko ahead of him.A fully fit Mendy is still our most system orientated fullback.
When all 100% fit,the team id like to see is
--------------Eddie------------------
Cancelo--Dias--Stones--Mendy
--------------Rodri---------------
-------Gundogan--KDB-----------
Bernardo---Aguero----Foden
he better notMendy? That’s amazing even for you haha.
He’ll never ever come close to being our first choice full back ever again.
