Looking at some of the other answers on here we could start by:

Clearing out all the crap;
Pressing the reset button;
Reformatting;
Turning it off and on.

It needs a full upgrade to the highest current spec.

Also I think it has been infested by what is called the "Danny Mills Virus". It's very difficult to remove though and costs a lot of cash per week to handle and maintain.
