How do we resolve the Brexit mess?

Try years.
As its you asking I will have to reject that suggestion. I will miss

We shouldn't have referendums even though you all seemed to partake and would do again given the chance.

We should let the politicians decide because the public are too thick but obviously not thick enough to vote in terrible politicians to make those decisions.

Who gave us the referendum? One of these politicians who you think is more qualified in making decisions based on a flawed voting system that most of you partake and vote for at every election.

Complain about undeserved large majorities until you get the undeserved large majority you wanted.

Just scratching the surface really, carry on with gdp tweets and general moaning.

One day you may see it or do you already and need this particular echo chamber for self delusion?

Must be about a decade now? You lot have staying power I will give you that.

All valid points.
I might agree with some,
But silent on the shit,
No, not a single word
About the damage
Brexit's done,
You cannot shine that turd.

Unfortunately the shit isn't mine to clean I didn't vote for the last govt or this one. Your adult and superior is in now, a remainer to boot. I'm sure if he can hang on we will slide back into being in the EU in all but name.
And you lot will take it because its what you want and that's all that's important. Politicians seem a little scared of the whole subject though.

I don't mind people being pro EU im married to one and the debate finished years ago but as long as the purps carry on with the bigotry, hypocrisy and dislike of democracy I am entitled to comment.

Anyhow Ttfn.

long and short of it is a legal migrant on a work visa contributes £16300 to our economy a Brit £800 - thats the yearly figures. So yeah 900 odd thousand is a disaster unless you want to collapse your economy

A good example of how "average" needs care...

I presume before Brexit the average fiscal benefit per immigrant was less because EU citizens could come and take poorer-paid jobs than allowed now under the Skilled Worker scheme.

a bit confused there Vic. Pre-referendum Skilled migrants still took skilled jobs whether from the EU or outside it. At that time people were moaning about Polish builders undercutting them and at the same time claiming they were driving around in fancy cars because they hoovered up all the work. Back then it was all contradictory and a lot of lies - in any event those are official Govt figures and are frankly embarrassing to the UK

I'm guessing most EU citizens were here to work in hospitality, to improve their English, then go home. Or here doing rural seasonal work. Thus average wages of migrants would be lower - though if the pubs and farms can't find workers at all and businesses go bust that may underestimate their fiscal benefit.

I'm not sure what's embarrassing about the figures.
