How do we resolve the Brexit mess?

Shortage of doctors in the NHS leading to fewer operations and lengthening waits

Thank goodness the politicians have their red lines on freedom of movement.
Regaining control of our borders doncha know? It OK for all the politicians behind Brexit. They've all got private health insurance. You'd never catch any of them waiting 14 hours in A&E with the hoi polloi. They might get nits and scabies and have their pocket picked.

I don’t even want any commitment to any particular deal. I just can’t understand why they would rule out any SM agreement, or rule out freedom any of movement. 2 things that would solve almost all the issues that brexit has caused, neither would need a referendum neither would require any commitment to rejoin the EU.
Because the reason why they got trounced at the last election is the red wall voters wanting to give Boris the mandate to 'get Brexit done' and any hint of reneging on Brexit wouldn't play well in those areas, even now.

It doesn't need to be framed as reneging on brexit, just sell it as delivering a Brexit that works.

Exactly. That is why this lot aren't doing anything about immigration; they want it to be an issue at the next election. Look over there Labour will just let in anyone. If you don't think that will be the case you need to come over here and listen to the rhetoric about 5 hotels (out of 138) in Skegvegas being used for asylum seekers.

This is
This is so depressing: and there is f..k all we can do about it.
This is the downside of democracy, a thick as mince electorate having their prejudices pandered to and stroked by a right wing press and self serving malicious politicians, leading to that same electorate voting against their own best interests.
The most badly affected by this will probably be the turkeys that voted for Christmas, whereas the ones most likely to profit from us leaving the EU are those that lied to get the turkeys to vote for Christmas.

Yes indeed, Boris and the rest of the smug and arrogant Tory cunts must be delighted with their scandelous leave campaign and the lies and false promises which were strewn throughout it.
Quite a few smug and arrogant Tory cunts are less impressed as they have to run a government following the shit-show of Brexit. - Fortunately they are in the position of being able to take advantage of the benefits of Brexit, or would be if any such benefits existed.
I'll just say "you lost, suck it up" to save a couple of leavers the effort.

BMW and Mercedes will make sure we have a deal. Delusional tossers.
The arrogance and delusion in that sentiment truly was staggering. If people genuinely thought that, then no wonder leave won the referendum.

Like I’ve said before, maybe this is the lesson in national humility that we needed. It’s just a shame that it’s going to come at such a cost.
