How do we resolve the Brexit mess?

What opportunity?
At the time the tory rebels were expelled a united opposition coul have taken control of the house and passed a better Brexit, a great one no, but a better one. From memory they couldn’t put aside prejudice and party ambitions to join together. That was an opportunity to at least try and take some control of a hardline ERG led Brexit.

On 'grim beginnings'. Apart from my mum's illness everything else was perfectly normal for me and many others. Not a hardship at all, just normal for a kid growing up in the 60's on a council estate.

I'll answer your question. Financially, nothing, which is exactly what I expected. I've stated before that what I want, is as few people telling me what to do as possible. So getting rid of busy bodies laying down laws and regulations was a chance too good to miss for me. I think being part of smaller, like minded communities is more healthy mentally, probably not financially, than trying to force everybody into being one happy family. So, I think my sympathy and support will always go to those seeking independence rather than those who want to create empires.
This is why Cameron should never have offered a referendum.

Yep, the reality is that rules were created by committees with U.K. representation and voted into law by elected representatives in the EU Parliament. Our own government had the ability to veto most laws if they didn’t want them. Very few, if any, were imposed on us against our will. There was nearly always a compromise agreeable to our negotiators and we had opt outs on the most important things we didn’t want.

The UK ''Gold plated'' the majority of Eu Directives making them far tougher than what the Eu required.

Wow - the vision to see a massive disaster is not good enough? Ridiculous to say "the remain camp" is equally to blame as the people who wanted Brexit.
No it was not good enough for me who despises the ravages of Neo-Liberalism, you are happy with capitalism I am not. The remain camp like leave were both capitalist.

how far would you go in that? Do you advocate anarchy ?

On that I do agree. Even as a Leaver, Leaving was not on my 1000 things to do this year list. The division a 50/50 vote has caused when many people, as the polls show, change their minds on a regular basis was not worth it. Cameron was a Remainer though, so own goal.

And yet strangely you still voted for something that was going to damage the UK?
You still believed liars like Johnson and no nothing incompetents like Ledsum and Grayling. You still bought the racist propaganda from Farage and his gang of bigots.
For what exactly? So we could "take back control", have blue passports and be completely governed by Eton old boys and not have our workers rights protected by the EU.
The worst bit is that you are actually proud to tell people that you bought the bullshit and if you were offered it again you'd buy some more.

Given the option, I voted for what I believe is best for the UK and it's people. That's what democracy is, surely?
Do you believe everything Cameron, Osborne, May etc say? Weren't they Tory royalty?
No, I paid very little attention to Nigel Farage. Unlike yourself it seems, why do you people always bring up racism? I honestly find most people treat other people exactly as they find them. As for bigots, the irony, have a look at the dictionary definition and then have a look in the mirror.
Passport colour, seriously? What colour do you want it to be, personally I don't care?
We have a vote every 5 years, so if we choose, we can choose not to be governed by Eton old boys?
We have a vote every 5 years so we can vote in a government that protects workers rights to any level we want?
The worst bit is that the EU deserted you and left you stranded on a small independent island off Europe. I do think they could have done a lot, lot more for their loyal subjects who went into battle for them. I feel your pain at that rejection, they really have treated you like shit.
