Just to add to this thread on New Years Day, lest we forget: last year’s multiple government upheavals, shit Prime Ministers and economic crash were as a direct result of the chain of events caused by the referendum result. Nothing else. If it wasn’t for that vote we’d have had a stable government, a fraction of the COVID deaths, lower taxes, better pensions and public services and our economy would be growing hugely like everyone else’s.

There will always be cunts with an agenda trying to manipulate things for their benefit. Whilst I despise them it really pisses me off that 52% of this country couldn’t see through the lies and didn’t realise the car crash that was coming with brexit. I can't say I've really noticed any good or bad things arising from Brexit - a bit of a damp squib tbh, like the y2k bug thing.

Really? Just one thing - after the Y2K bug thing as you put it computers still worked and you could go and love live and work in the EU with no restrictions. If you had a German wife she did not have to re-apply to stay here as some did and her mum certainly didn't have to pay excise duties on her Xmas present on receipt in Dusseldorf because her daughter lives in a 3rd country.

As with a lot of your posts you waiver between WUM and knob - sometimes its hard to tell which fake persona you are adopting when you post
