How do we resolve the Brexit mess?

Depends how old they are. The younger generation all use metres and kilograms rather than feet, inches, stones and pounds. There’s really only miles and pints that are still used by everyone.
And only pints for beer and cider. Wines and spirits are universally in metric now. Wholesale volumes of beer and cider are still also measured in brewers’ barrels, which are 36 gallons or 288 pints each.

Absolutely fucking embarrassing when they were talking about bringing Imperial measures back a few months ago.

I know.
I can’t fathom why.

Hmm...kind of disagree, whenever there is a thread on here about weight posters always mention it in stones and pounds, height in feet and inches. It's the norm in England.

I've never heard a Brit when talking about fuel consumption of their vehicle mention it in kilometres per litre. Or litres per 100 kilometres, It's always miles per gallon :-)

And yet "going metric" was around 50 years ago.

Yet we buy our fuel in litres and have for at least 30 years.

Just a reminder that until the Brexit vote the forecast was for the British car industry to expand further
One of my abiding memories of referendum night is watching Sunderland leave voters cheering the count and me thinking 'WTF'.
Surely they should have known that their continued jobs were dependent on the ability to export unhindered to the European market.

The UK gov stuffed up years ago. They should've joined Schengen and the Euro, I mean free travel was always allowed with Ireland.
It was always half hearted. If your in you should be in fully.
Brexit is good for Australia and New Zealand, but I think the UK should re-join.
