How do we resolve the Brexit mess?

Apologies if already posted, but video of Sunak excitedly telling the business folk of Northern Ireland that his new deal made them the most exciting investment opportunity was rather letting the cat out of the bag, but doesn’t seem to have been picked up by BBC or the main media outlets for some reason.

N Ireland is in a unique and enviable position now, because it has exactly what we ALL had before Brexshit!

Just a shame he wasn’t so keen to make a fuss about this before the vote .

And if it is so good then surely he should campaign to take us back into the EC

Limited to attacks against a specific grievance though. Not exactly ETA or the IRA. As only one bloke was imprisoned for the attacks, it was a tiny organisation in comparison.

As English we did a much better job of colonising them than the Irish or even the Scots, because we had more time.

Couldn't do much about their predilection to sheep shagging though.

Yup it’s crazy that the rest of the country is sidelined but Northern Ireland gets the benefits of being inside the single market. It will be interesting to see how the economy evolves and adapts in Northern Ireland. I bet there will be a lot more exporters setting up there rather than in mainland Britain to move things quicker into Europe.

The trade deals we have now are equal and in some instances worse than what we had in the EU. The electric car industry will be difficult to grow here due to all of the grants being offered in the Eu and USA, we are being sidelined into a small insignificant island with flat growth for the foreseeable future.

Yeah but they tanked the economy so badly they can claim the fastest growth in the G7 whilst not admitting ours is the only economy not to get back to pre-pandemic levels and the drones just accept that rather than do 2 mins or research on line.

Today it looks like they are going to extend help for energy bills beyond the end of the month - must use our money to make sure their mates maintain huge profits eh?

The whole situation is a regurgitated dogs' breakfast.
The best we can hope for just now is to re-enter the single market, but we've lost much credibility and our destiny lies in the hands of the rest of the member states now.
 
as ever you just need to cast aside the actual facts and believe more in the process to see its working - fucking wankers
