How do you feel about the result?

Not bothered as long as we beat Liverpool. If we dont then I will be a bit pissed off with the number of defeats that are starting to creep back in.

I hope we dont show the prem that we are a Yaya and Kompany reliant team in the next few games.

Proud of the performance 12 vs 10 men BUT it's not been mentioned on here the thing that concerns me is our inability to consecutively beat United over 2 games.
Every time since the double a few seasons ago we win one we draw or loose the next. This has to change.

1-0 at Wembley then 6-1 at the swamp? Unless you are counting the Community Shield as a serious game?

Yes the Charity Shield should be classed as serious being honest. Maybe the attitude that it wasn't cost us it.

Bit daft to mention that after we had ten men for 80 mins, it's not a fair game to judge that kind of thing on.To run them as close as we did was a victory in all but the result (granted, that is all that really counts but there was always going to be a psychological aspect to this game and we won that).

Those last 30 mins with the look on their fans faces and then the Fergie post match interview was enough for me to be very proud and extremely satisfied. When you look at the difference to how we played with ten men for 80 mins and the way they played with 10 for 45 it says a lot about the difference in class of the two teams. They should have beat us by 6 but in the end they're very lucky to win at all.

Besides, although it's disappointing to be out of the trophy we were defending, those 5 games less could win us the league. The fact United now play away to Liverpool makes me feel a whole lot better too.

Lets put it into perspective..

We had 10 men for 80 mins,we conceeded 2 but scored 2..

At the swamp..They had 10 men for 40 minutes scored 1 and conceeded 5..

Luvly jubbly, everyones a winner, bonnet du doche, you know it makes sense.

Logic's a bit flawed because with 10 men they continued to bomb forward really hard in search of a comeback and we just picked them off on the counter.

Just move on, we'll get revenge next derby and we'll be champions, hopefully on the same day!!

gutted to lose to them, but i can see the bigger picture.
there will be more better days than bad to come against the scum.
they will not be happy at how we powered back against them and only luck got them through in the end.
if you can give me the win in april, then they can gladly have this one

Proud is the one word that keeps coming to my mind.

Pride In Battle and didn't we show it?

Also that we have a manager who is tactically brilliant. What a masterstroke at half time.

Gutted we lost, but it didn't feel like a loss, if you know what I mean?
