How do you like your eggs?

Runny for me, poached or fried, ideally double yolkers or Blue Marin

How about you?
I stop off at a farm on my travels and buy 2 doz free range eggs every week. A dozen of them are ex large and they are all double yokers. Quickly fried in very hot oil so the edges crisp but the yolks are still soft and served on a slice of black pudding.....nothing better.
 
When I was a kid my mom used to prepare them scrambled, so just like cantaloupe, I got tired of that as a grown-up. Now I eat them in almost any other form. Hard-boiled especially because they are transportable to work for breakfast. But i especially like them poached (love eggs benny), omelette style, or over-medium.
 
Funny you should ask, as I've had a bit of a traumatic experience with eggs today. Sweden has had a salmonella outbreak and is in the middle of an egg shortage, so I bought some Danish eggs from the supermarket. I get home and open the carton and you'll never guess!

They were packed pointy end down. It put me right off.
 
Does anyone else open up the packs of eggs at the shop and pick the best 6 from a handful of packs so you end up with 6 big XL eggs?

I used to check to make sure none were broke but can’t be arsed anymore plus the checkout girl usually does it anyway.

I don’t check for the size of their girth either so that’s a unique one matey
