At one point we were on the edge of their penalty area and 3 passes later Given had the ball, that just sums us up! Combine that with the fact that we play a passing game with players who can't pass and when they do pass its so ridiculously slow that everyone can see exactly what is going to happen before it has done and you have our performance summed up tonight!

I thought Vieira was our best player and he was only on the pitch about 15 mins, Tevez showed some touches of class at times but couldn't convert anything and SWP....well.....he'll be lucky to get £10k a week by the end of this season!

But....I don't blame Mancini, not at all and i'd love him to stay as manager with his OWN team next season! He made one signing (I dont count Johnson as his!) Vieira on a free and he has been our best midfielder whenever he has played!

Tevez needs a partner up front.

If Vieira is our best midfielder then there's chance for me yet.

One problem is we keep putting crosses in the box but we've got no one that can head the ball! How many headers have we scored this season??? We need to work the ball to feet. QUICKLY!!!!!!!!

As good as we were for the majority of Sunday against Fulham we were as poor tonight.

Lacked conviction and urgency going forward and made it way too easy for Everton to defend.

A lot of our players were below par tonight so its not surprising we got beaten quite easily in the end but we all know our current squad is not good enough to compete with the top three and it needs a few changes over the summer.

Everton have a simple game plan and it works well against us.

We can do much better and we will have to finish fourth.

It will not be as easy as some think to get rid of the typical city tag.

i love being us!!! Were used to it now ... the up and down ... and up and down! What other team has that. I wouldnt have it any other way - what would we moan about! Up with the blues! Rome wasnt built in a day!

I completely agree, it was actually painful to watch. The players almost look confused on the ball, the ball constantly went backwards. I like Mancini and he will be able to attract good players, but i think the players are struggling to get to grips with his style.

Very, no one had a good game tonight. It was a bad day at the office IMO, 3 wins from our next 3 games are so vital.

It must have been very frustrating for some. The ground emptied when they scored their second. I would sooner the ground be empty from the start than see it empty with ten minutes to go. Some fans don't deserve a team unbeaten at home till the end of March and fighting for fourth place.

we just aint good enough at the moment, no passion no fight, no spirit, only one who was trying was tevez today.

barry was slow, ireland looked injured from the start to me. zabs aint a left back and we dont play the right game for roque to be effective
