How good could Hart be

He can be as good as he wants to be. Some keepers think that they are truely great but when it comes to proving it on the pitch they arent as good as they think they are. This is what I think it is with Hart at the moment he thinks he has made it but there is still a lot of hard work ahead of him. He needs to keep his focus during the games were he might not have a lot to do. He is lacking a football brain in my opinion but you would hope he is learning from his mistakes that he has made this season. Next season will be make or break for him at the club. Cant afford another major blip like the 1 he had this season.
What blip? After Van Der Saar, he's probably been the most consistently good keeper in the league again.

What blip? You think Joe's had a blip of a season?! His brilliant to blip ratio is about 97:3!

Okay he could have saved Etherington's goal at Stoke and he and Kolo fucked up against Blackburn but I can't think of any others.

Along with the ones you mentioned you could add in Darren Bents goal for Villa were it was easier for him to push it behind for a corner than push it in the path of Bent. Also some of the cup games he was at faults for the goals which lead to replays. Against Leicester City in the first game to make it 2-2 any keeper would of held onto the ball. Then in the next round against Notts County he had a pushing match with the forward who was standing in front of him he pushed him out of the 6 yard box and header went over Joes head into the net were he should of been to collect the ball. A lot of these happend close enough to one and other thats why even the media brought up his displays for the wrong reasons.

Truly astounding....

In this major blip of a season he stands on the brink of breaking City's clean sheet record.

Amazing.

In other news, if he lets one more goal in this season he will officially be dragged through the streets of Ireland with an effigy of Given strapped to his back and a sign saying sorry for replacing your hero.

Dont be daff alffie that already happend a few months ago ;).

In answer to your question , no he is not as good as Corrigan at that age, his distribution skills are not as good. Having said that his potential is, to me, phenominal. The best stopper in the league for me, and let's face it, that is what you want your keeper to do.
In a few seasons he will be amongst the world's best, barring injury.
