How long can you plank for?

2:30 my maximum so far. But i am trying to get better in this and found couple of good articles about plank here - https://betterme.world/articles/. As i understand the most important rule here - don't overdo it, otherwise you not gonna be able to get better. Start with the 30 seconds only and make it more every single day.

Hmm, it's weird I stumbled upon this thread after trying it last night for the first time in years. I lasted about 35 seconds and had to stop in fear of getting a heart attack. And I was shaking so much I thought I would cause a mini earthquake. I doesn't help I stopped daily running and exercise when COVID hit back in April 2020 and moved from one proper meal a day to three meals a day - I put on about 30kg in two years. So, I am planning to go back to my old weight. Is a 5 minute plank achievable?
