How long have you genuinely supported our city

Since I was born in 1964. Seriously. Nothing in our house was anything but a Blue.

When I got to about 6 I asked an elderly relation why we hated united.

"Because they are common" was the answer. He meant it in the same way we call them scum today. Nowt about their background or their "class" more to do with their whole approach being different from our Club.

first game was when i was really young but cant remember that much. first started going properly the year we got relegated to division 2. saw us lose to huddersfield at home then draw at tranmere. what got me hooked was uwe roslers goal agaisnt westbrom and then kinkys against qpr. since then i have had a season ticket every year. no turning back.

98-99, so 11-12 years

i have been going to watch city for 45 years, ups and downs but yet to say "i'm never going it again":)

I used them words at the 90-91 play off final, went with my bro and had John stapelton sat behind me in the gods, i was swearing like a trooper, baseball cap off and thrown over the edge, i really did lose it and then my bro who's a meteorologists was on GMTV during the week talking about the weather and spoke to John again about the play off, john said that he had never heard anyone swear so much and be so passionate, my bro dare not tell him he was with me lol. sorry but thats me!!!!
