Yes , i find it's getting dearer and dearer at Tescos, probably why they're offering so many coupons ...... i only live a few hundred yards from one , so i use them frequently , but i am thinking of turning elsewhere .

They did however offer 24 tins of Coca Cola for £7 this week ... which i thought was a pretty good deal.

I almost fell for that deal too, until I saw directly under it was a 12 pack for £3, so I bought 24 cans for £6. Surely they realise this??

Just from memory in recent years they've been fucked for selling shit beef as Topside/Silverside.

They've been fucked for ripping people of with their best value items.

They've sold pissing horse meat as beef.

They've abused the fuck out of the work for benefits scheme.

NOTE: Since that scheme came out the quality of their fresh food as gone right down hill. I'm not surprised as the poor bastards that are forced to work there as slave Labour probably don't give a flying fuck.

Now the ***** are passing of peppered burgers as bleeding steak. Which btw just ruined what i had planned for my dinner today the *****.

Whats the next scandal for Tesco going to be then. Are with going to start cutting the baby formula with bloody left over flour or possibly something even worse ?

I used to but the old guys that worked in the butcher i went to retired and the place closed. The only other butchers I've seen round where i live are Bexleys and I'm not sure they're a proper butcher as there's loads of them all over the place.

I'd shop at Sainsbury's if I had the choice and I do occasionally pop into Waitrose on the way home from work if I'm feeling flush, but I do most of my shopping at Tesco now, due to where I've been living for the last nine months. A Tesco Metro and a 24 hour Superstore are two and four minutes walk from mine respectively.

The quality of meat, fish and vegetables is well below that of Sainsbury's (and Waitrose, obviously) imo.

A Tesco Metro and a 24 hour Superstore are two and four minutes walk from mine respectively.

The quality of meat, fish and vegetables is well below that of Sainsbury's (and Waitrose, obviously) imo.

I always go to Asda but did some shopping in Tesco the other day as I as close to one. Flipping eck its as expensive as Sainsburys in there, I really noticed the difference. And I bought some frying steak that Im sure was the sole of somebodys shoe. It was shite. I'm sticking to Asda, it might smell of piss and be full of gypsies, but its a lot cheaper. And its quite a milf fest too in the afternoons when their kids are in school.

Tesco are the mafia of the food industry

They didn't reduce their margin to offer the Coke deal. Coca Cola will have fully funded it. I've so many stories to tell on this

Pretty sure there would be an agreed plan on it between the two. Tesco invest margin all the time on footfall drivers.

How do you work that out? We are a small supplier standing up to bully boy tactics from a supermarket giant. How does that make me like them?

On a side note. This is one of the most successful UK companies of this century.

It is successful because it gave the UK shopper what it wanted. They might be immoral twats (and I could tell you some things on suppliers they've fucked over) but they have brought prices down for us all.

Ps.dont assume a local butcher has better traceability than a supermarket. The horsemeat scandal was a failure by some of the UK,s biggest suppliers. You wont be surprised to know they have since felt the pain of their failures
