How low can Tesco go

On a side note. This is one of the most successful UK companies of this century.

It is successful because it gave the UK shopper what it wanted. They might be immoral twats (and I could tell you some things on suppliers they've fucked over) but they have brought prices down for us all.

Ps.dont assume a local butcher has better traceability than a supermarket. The horsemeat scandal was a failure by some of the UK,s biggest suppliers. You wont be surprised to know they have since felt the pain of their failures

Fuck traceability, i wanted steak for a stir fry not bastarding burgers. I had all my bleeding veg washed, chopped up and ready to go before i found out they sold me pissing burgers.

The fucking THUNDERCUNTING, cockwombling, sheep worrying bastards .

did it say peppered steak on the label or grill steak? just asking cause a few years back Asda sold the same thing and labelled it peppered grill steak I paid no attention to the grill bit and though it was a proper steak not a burger was surprised when opening it.

Tesco's have overreached in their world domination and lost focus on what made them as big as they became only go in if I'm in need of something and their closest at the time otherwise wouldn't bother.

I always use Tesco, purely because the choices they have far outweigh any other supermarket chain. I went to waitrose once to buy a toothbrush. They only had one type of toothbrush you can buy. Tesco have 500 different types.

When I go to Asda and Sainsbury's the choices are limited on what food you can buy. Sainsburys in Sale is always sold out of fruit and veg on a saturday, this never happens at the tesco. In Asda the range is limited and low quality, and in Morrisons they shrink wrap every item? Why shrink wrap a banana or an apple?

I couldn't care less about the horsemeat scandal, because Iceland, aldi and findus also got duped by the same dodgy Romanian supplier. Tesco's re-action was to invest more into British meat and do away with the foreign suppliers. If it's got a union jack on it, that'll do for me.

I dont understand how you can select a steak without actually seeing it? Transparent packaging - if i picked up a pack and there was a fucking peppered burger inside I'd notice immediately. Odd.

Think it's obvious he has an axe to grind. Wonder what sort of dingus act would get you sacked from a Tesco store?

The meat was not shaped like a burger it's was flat on one side and curved around the rest. It was similar in shape to the beef cut you find in beef wellington but sliced up. The meat was completely covered in pepper grinds and on the packaging there is a picture of sliced steak cut in half and NOT a burger (burgers have no grain in the meat).

-- Mon Jul 29, 2013 10:16 am --

Post on your real account you little bitch.

Anyone who falls for the "peppered grill steak" thinking its steak is a born loser.

Its just a burger shaped differently and covered in pepercorns.Surely you would have know purely from the price if nothing else - they are about £2. And you expected sirloin or fillet for that. Catch yourself on.
