How many games a season do you do?

seasoncard holder so all 19 unless me or the kid is ill.
both of us on all 3 cup schemes so roughly 5 to 10 more games etc
5 to 8 aways mostly league.

for me,i have to use holidays for a lot of weekend games as i' m rotored in 5 out of 7 weekends

I go to all the home league games and the odd home midweek game. And Wembley finals should we ever reach one again…

I used to go to every home game and the odd away but to be honest I’ve got other things in my life apart from City and getting home midweek is a pain in the arse.

Tbh having nearly two years away from football due to the pandemic has recalibrated things. I’m not as obsessed with the football as I used to be. Other hobbies etc.

Sorry Pep.

I furloughed my season ticket this year so only go to about 1 a month now. I really miss going to live games as you only see half of what is going on the field. Not sure if I will go back to my old seat when offered later this year as I don't miss the journey over and back. It seems like the older I get (73 shortly) the less I enjoy driving: it is just too much hassle.

Had a season ticket for 17 years from 1996 to 2013. Went to 30+ games home and away in our league 1 year. Then wife and kids came a long, it all got very expensive. Weirdly, it also stopped being so much fun, when we got good and started attracting glory supporters. Now I go to 5 to 10 a season. and actually enjoy each game more now than I was doing in the last few seasons when I had the season ticket.

Pretty much havnt missed any last 4 years or so this week although a fantastic week has been a mental and physical slog Liverpool Madrid Wembley ,got back from Madrid 1am Saturday 5am bus to Wembley, missing our first game Wednesday as we are off to see James in Porto tough call week in Porto or 4 hour round trip to watch Brighton

Most homes, the odd away, so probably 25.

But throw in a load of other games along the way too, so if we’re not playing on a Saturday or midweek the kids and I will find another match to get to. It was South Shields last week, but usually a lower division or junior Scottish game. So probably 50-60 a season.

I do that too - love the non leagues

Season ticket holder and in all the cup schemes.

Used to go home and away as much as I could. Haven’t ever done all the away games in 1 season. Not missed a derby at OT for years, or a match at a ground close to Manchester for years.

Sadly this season I’ve not been to an away game. First COVID. Then I went part-time at work. Looking to go back full-time atm. I eventually got out of the habit of going to away games, the cost of away games, the money I was saving, the cost of living price rises and utilities prices kicked in, and the general hassle of going to an away game which I don’t miss, yesterday being a prime example.

I will be going to the CL final if City get there. Not been on a holiday since COVID started. 3 years? Had to rearrange a week in Valaencia 3 times. Hoping to go in June? So I’ve booked a week off work, and I’m hopefully going to make a mini-break of Paris. Not arsed about the cost.

I might start making the effort again next season, but I‘ll pick and choose the away games I go to. I’ll renew my season ticket next season. And I’ll be in all the cup schemes next season.

I used to do 99% but don’t nowadays. However people I sat with and got to know over those years keep in touch and I’m really enjoying seeing how the youngsters who were sometimes babes in arms have grown and are still going.

For example yesterday some people posted photos of their Wembley visits and there was one of a lad who was just beginning to walk the first time I saw him at a game and there he was with his girlfriend!
I love it, it’s heartening to still have that camaraderie and family feel.
Onwards and upwards.
