To only get 40 goals, he’d need his current rate to decrease by half.
Personally I don’t see any reason why he can’t keep this rate of scoring up. He’s not scoring worldies, he’s just converting chances. If anything I think he’s leaving a few out there and he’ll probably hit a patch where that stops.

Without googling it (too lazy), I presume that either Raheem or Sergio were the last Citeh player to score 20 PL goals in a season. Erling is currently on 17, from his 11 games. He'll surely hit that 20 mark in the next 3 games, injuries permitting (Leicester A, Fulham H and Brentford H) before the World Cup break. We'll then see how he pushes on from boxing day onwards.
