How many loyalty points have you got?

You'll get one easily

What do you think the least amount will be DD,for the final.
I'm totally convinced that every seasoncard holder will get one regardless of points. I think some will go out to seasoncard holders and that will go, say , one day for 3000 points, one day for 2000, one day 1000. I'd say we'd be selling out around this point. Obviously there is no precedent for many years but 32000 is a lot of tickets.

i.e. we have around 25,000 seasoncard holders with more than 3750 points.

I think you're miles out, miles. There are tens of thousands of season ticket holders who have never heard of bm. Your sample is probably of young, committed, south stand/111 type bluea who go away. Put it this way, I reckon there are hundreds of bigmouths on here who hardly go and aren't going to post that they have 80 loyalty points .

All season ticket holders will get one easy. And there will be plenty left

back of the que son! ;-)

-- Sat Mar 19, 2011 1:04 am --

is it correct that last season we only had 31k season ticket holders if so that means 5k are new this year a lot of them being kids as the family stand was introduced so 5k season card are likely to have a very low amount of points on, i'd say seasoncards with as low as 1300 points will get a ticket

I acknowledged the potential "bias" within the sample in my original posts...
but it also works both ways: I know loads of city fans who don't use bluemoon and many are older, longtime fans (less internet savvy) with loyalty points > 5000.

I also predicted / suggested (before the ticket details were announced) that the club might try and launch some sort of "group" scheme to allow friends + family on different levels of loyalty points the opportunity to purchase tickets at the same time.

what is significant is that they have set the threshold at 3000 loyalty points:
i.e. this was the level that they could guarantee every seasoncard holder a ticket.

The club is clearly not as confident as you are about this reaching Citycards, otherwise they would have set a lower limit for the seasoncard group scheme.

i fully agree with this post and have come to the same thoughts that should most people purchase a ticket the cut off will be 3000pts, it all depends on demand now,if we had been allocated 34k i would have said all season ticket holders would have got one if they wanted one 31k is not enough

The tightening of the criteria for the group scheme that has been announced (or rather "clarified") by the club...should reduce exploitation of this initiative.

If they hadn't done this, I would have said around 1900 loyalty points (+sc) would get you a ticket.

Now, I would say that around 1500 loyalty points (+sc) should be enough.

either way I am nowhere near as confident as DD is... that these tickets will reach Citycards.

the club usually post criteria to what they reasonably expect the sales to go to, so for the semi they have posted down to any s/c holder so i would imagine it will go to that, perhaps slightly higher, depends on demand i suppose,

but i wouldnt worry if i was a s/c holder with more that 1000 points, which means anyone who bought before this season as their bonus 1000 wont have been added yet,

personally i wouldnt be suprised if it went to c/c holders, but not acces card holders, too big of a chance a rag could get hold of one that way,

for the recorde i have 3350, definate for a semi, think im gonna bloody sweat big time for a final should we progress
