Glory hunters..
So your in Springfield then ?Not really Philly, I’m about as far away from Philly as MU is from Manchester.
Does Homer still live there? So your in Springfield then ?
After returning from Istanbul on Sunday night, I went away with the other half and the dog to a caravan park near Lytham yesterday afternoon and got the train back into town for the parade. Upon getting the train back to Blackpool last night (which was rammed with City by the way), one of the weirdest things I saw at Deansgate station were 2 pissed up young lads from Preston. One was a PNE fan so as there’s not much hatred between us and them it’s understandable that he may want to come and see the parade. However, his mate who came along was a United fan and both said they loved it. Can’t say I’d ever turn out for a United parade! But I think it shows that in these days of social media, younger fans are probably not as bitter as us older lot and will turn out for big name players even if they play for their rivals. With Haaland in particular being box office, some non-City fans want a piece of him too.I genuinely think we will be expanding the stadium again within 3 years. We are becoming a monster we really are. I can see us becoming genuinely the biggest club in the world. That tonight was something else and what I noticed was so many young people of different cultures genuinely in love with our club. It was so intense on Deansgate with the clouds and the rain and the music. It was absolutely beautiful.
After this treble and finally winning the Champions League on Saturday being shown all around the world, will we see a increase in fans in overseas countries, making us even bigger.
