How many more people will now become City fans?

Buenos Aries Blues are almost a million strong judging by the parade to see Zabba lift a CL replica today

The OSC galleries shown on the official site are very interesting to see. They give an indication of just how popular City are becoming around the world.

It’s the nature of the business the more success the more fans we get, there are kids here on Merseyside wearing City shirts, and of course the overseas market is huge and not that loyal, especially in Africa and Asia they only want to follow success, it’s one of the reasons the cartel clubs are desperate to stop us
Spot on. Let’s not get too giddy. So many of these “fans” are just temporary until the next flavour of the month comes round. You cannot monetise the overseas fans, most of the shirts are fake.

I am in a large town in N. China (where my wife is from).
Most people here haven't met a westerner before and ask me if I am from America. (NO!) They couldn't pronounce Manchester City if their lives depended on it.
And yet, when I show pics on my phone of City, quite a few recognise our colours and say "Haaland"!
I then show them an enlarged photo and they give me the thumbs up "Verr gooda" they say....

A lot of those youngsters, especially the match going one’s are the kids of long standing city fans
True. There’s also a growing number of young Blues whose parents either support other Clubs or weren’t interested in football. This is the case for a few families that have joined our OSC Branch in the last couple of years.
