I appreciate 27 "historic" games will always be subjective in opinion, and all off your games are post 1881 (possibly age related) but what about????
68 Newcastle away
69 Leicester Cup Final
70 West Brom League Cup Final
70 Gornik CWCF in Vienna
70 4- 1 win at the swamp Franny Lee hat trick ,and Mike Doyle header at the Stretford End
74 Wolves League Cup Final (probably not)
76 League Cup Final, if only for Dennis Tueart overhead kick
81 Cup Final Replay far more historic (although we lost) than the original game
85 Charlton 5- 1 promotion clincher at home
89 Bradford 1-1 promotion, so nearly went wrong
Honestly , if i sat here for a while, i'm sure i could think of quite a few more.......

Not bad seeing as 17 years were spent on her majesty's service
were you in the army or a prison officer or doing time
It felt like doing time, but was in the RAF , so a lot of my time was on these shores - hence the relatively good score.
I would add to the list the Trevor Francis goals at Stoke and the last Maine Road derby.
