How many people have Irish blood/desent on this site?

Dad's side are from Milltown, Galway - I also have a very Irish-dancing sounding surname, which can be a pain in the arse frankly. Mum's so English her family were mentioned in the Doomsday book.

My Grandparents were from Cork somewhere, didn't really get
to know them as they both died when I was young so don't
have any more info than that.

My grandad(R.I.P) was from co cavan.

That's where my family come from!! About 7 miles Dublin side of Cavan town. There's not many Irish Mancs from Cavan. Where abouts??

Me myself I was born in Dublin, spent every summer in Cavan and consider myself Irish but now have a Manc accent through and through having moved to Manchester (Longsight then Fallowfield) when I was 5ish years of age.

Kinda strange when I speak to family members people who know me say that I have a right Irish twang!?!?!? Wierd!!!

But regardless I'm City 100%

My Grandad was Irish, William Bayley. Lived in Hulme 8 children survived. Of them Joe, and my mum Elizabeth were Blues, John and Alf were Reds.
My Grandad was a builder, Lay Preacher, and taught the deaf and dumb.
Mum would recite the team of 1936 to us. My Mum was at the Stoke match when there was 85,000 at Maine Road. Me and our kid were brought up Blues as of course as was Tony, Joe's son.
My son's are Blues and I am happy now that the good times have arrived again for them and all of you who have been through the bad times.
I was lucky enough to watch City in the sixties when we beat the Rags for fun. Alex Harley's goal at the swamp was the highlight for me.
Cannot wait for Saturday.
