How many players have City signed in swap deals?

We had slightly dodgy swap with Juve Felix Correia and Pablo Moreno. Neither really progressed and ironically were on the same Maritimo team in Portugal last season.

Dave Watson also, with was it Gary Bennett going the other way? Micky Horswill, what a disaster. A signing on the back of one cup tie against us. That should be a warning for some of the posters on here who want to sign players in similar circumstances.
 
We sure liked offloading our FA Youth Cup winning players in swaps didn't we?

Hinchcliffe for Pointon.

White to Leeds for Rocastle.

Redmond (and Pointon plus 300k) for Rick Holden.

All of those deals harmed us long-term very typical City we loved to shoot ourselves in the foot back then.

I was wrong about Clarke. He was swapped for Dave Watson. We also paid £175000.
Gary Bennett never made a first team appearance and was sold along with his brother Dave, who was a first team regular, to Cardiff.
