How many points do Platinum members get for Bolton

This thread just sums up what plastics City fans have become. All some of them are worried about is their bloody loyalty points. Never mind the privilege of being able to see one of the best squads we've ever had in our history, it's all "I haven't been given enough points".

Good job some of you weren't alive in the old days, spending 5 houers on trains to Ipswich & Norwich then 5 hours back. We didn't spend 10 hours talking about how many bloody points we were getting; we did it because we were fans who wanted to watch our team.

If all you're worried about is points then get a bloody Tesco Clubcard.

Yes you're absolutely right. There's no point making sure you have the amount if loyalty points you're entitled to. After all loyalty points are only the criteria used for fa cup finals and champions league finals. Not the end of the world if you miss out on one of those by the odd 20 points or so

Yeah just sounded like a bitter comment.

If you are platinum and only get 20 you want it sorted out as that could be 1000 points or more by the end of he season it the same error occurs.

Then you can't get a ticket for your away games eventually.

Our last Ipswich an Norwich were Sunday and Monday evenings, you couldn't get the train but they were not very long ago so I think everyone was alive. Doubt PB went.

Got one and a Nectar card and others as well................ if you don't like it don't read the thread!!!

I think I am probably a lot older than you sunshine and have gone through the struggling times etc. This thread just takes my mind off those times and makes me really aware of how far we have come and how much I am STILL enjoying the football.

This MAY be the best squad we have had in 'our history' but there have also been so many enjoyable and rotten times that I will just carry on enjoying the football, which is the reason I support City.

I am only interested in the points so that I don't miss any of the matches, home and away, UK and abroad, this season.

Thank you.

I got 40 by the way. ;-)

Just an update on this for anyone who may have been in the same position as me and not been allocated the right number of points.

City ignored my 2nd email to them and so when I was at the ground yesterday I went to Supporter Services and finally sorted it out. They said there had been a problem with the Bolton points and a lot of people had got the wrong points but it had been sorted now. I told them mine hadn't and after a long discussion the guy finally went into my account and saw it was still wrong and sorted it.

So if anyone else is concerned I'd check your points out and contact the club.

Only just seen the comments from Prestwich_Blue slating me for this thread. I was actually there back in the 70s and 80s mate and I have done the long journeys to Ipswich and all over the place. If City operate a scheme and allocate points for buying tickets then what's wrong with checking you've received the right number. I see you checked yours as well :-) so what's the issue. I posted this to ask a question to see if I was wrong in expecting 40 points. Thankfully some on here gave me a straight reply and by asking the question it helped other people get their's right as well.
