Same as when we played Liverpool in both games a couple of years. Won the final, then got trounced at Anfield.
If I had to chose one game over the other.
I would be willing to take that, win the league cup and lose at the emirates, as long as our league lead was the same as now after.

No panic . City are one of the best sides in uk since game was invented.....they will find a way.That is going to be odd whatever happens. Win the trophy and then play them days later at their ground. Will they be disheartened or desperate for revenge? Lose it and they will be parading it to fans pre game. Will that fire them up or us and maybe distract them.
Not your run of the mill few days.
Then Chelsea at home days later.
That period is going to be huge for our season and by the looks of it without anyone of the injured back unless Sane makes a miracle recovery. We could do with him so much for that week.

Didnt need the draw as our goal diff is streets ahead of anyone else. And it should be 8 wins (13 games left, so need 24 + the 15 we are ahead to match the Scum's max 39). Unless of course one of our wins is against them, in which case only 7 needed.

If united win 11 of last 12 ( 89 points ) City would have to lose 6 and win 6 ( 87 points ) for united to win the title. Just cant see it even with injuries as quite frankly they are shite.

At this point we have to lost more than a third of our games and Utd win all theres. Just one draw for them and it's 50% we'd have to lose or 5 loses and a draw for them to win it. So would have to drop 16 points in 12 games. So far dropped 9 in 26. Just ain't gonna happen

beat the foxes, then we need(team) to not think about thw leagie and focus on the 2l3 cup games.
we could be down to a 10 point difference (rag will beat geordies and chelsea are awful atm) before the haribo cup final and need to not worry about that and concentrate on the final.
