I still think the rags may win all their remaining games. The refereeing performances now in full flow to maintain some sort of title race. It’s not done until it’s done we still need 11 points. Agree that with this team that should not be an issue, but eez football. Like others be glad once it’s done.
I think they will struggle against Liverpool and Leicester. The rest they can win

They need to maintain a bit of interest for the masses for as long as possible, assisting Utd is the most attractive option and has been since the season started.
you got that nearly right

you should of said

" since the premier league started " back in the 1990's !

I’ll be glad when this thread is made redundant for the year. I mean, I know it’s done, you know it’s done but until it’s actually done I’ll still be imagining us losing every game from here on in somehow..

I’ll also then be able to get over the loss against them...

I actually think the league not being over with will help keep our momentum going in all competitions... Didn't Bayern under Pep piss the league with about 15 games to go and he said it was a struggle to keep the players motivated and they made a mess of the champions league and maybe a German cup final? Still needing points to make sure of the league keeps them on it in every game they play. Just my opinion

Dont know how many points it will take, but with 95 to play for, it would be a bit dissapointing if we dont finish with 90+, which I think we will comfortably do. That Leicester game was by far our toughest remaining game this season.

The rags aren't great but they are fluking games and I don't see them dropping many points from here. We need 10 more points and given our goal difference that should be enough even if the rags win all their games.

Just looked at utd's remaining fixtures, trying to be objective about it (not easy!).

Spurs A - Draw
Burnley H - Win
Leeds A - Draw
Liverpool H - Lose
Villa A - Win
Leicester H - Draw
Fulham H - Win
Wolves A - Win

To be fair, the Spurs, Leeds and Leicester ones could just as easily end up as wins to the opposition. But, going on the above scenario, they'd end up with 75 points. So, ruling out the need for GD to decide the outcome, one more win should be enough. Two will definitely do it.

Think they will win them all, except Liverpool and depends which side turns up. Spurs are awful, Leeds too inconsistent, and Leicester tend to mostly crumble against the bigger teams. I can only see Liverpool getting anything. The FA in full flow now to stretch it out for as long as possible. However, even 11 from 7 should be fine for this team.

Yeah, they won the league too early on all 3 occasions (2 records for Bundesliga and not far off the other time), sloppiness started creeping into their game and they went up against top sides in tight races domestically in the Spanish top 3, well below their peak. Beaten all 3 times.

The toughest three games there could be Burnley, Spurs and Fulham, depending on other results. Leicester, Leeds and Villa are comfortable, dippers will be throwing everything at Europe.

As long as we beat Leeds.

Spurs will either beat them or draw against them. (I'd even take a draw)

Spurs have a full weeks rest, while the Rags are away in Spain on Thursday.

Travelin back tc, only gives the Rags 2 days rest, and 1 day if light training.

Spurs need a result to challenge for a CL place.

Not a chance, they’re simply not good enough to win them all. Leicester have literally just knocked them out of the FA Cup so even though we made them look average I can see them getting something against United.

They also have dropped a lot of points to lower placed teams so even those ones aren’t guaranteed 3 points.

We have a 14 point lead with a more favourable set of fixtures and a far better team, there shouldn’t be any need to worry!

(I still will...)

I would not be relying on Spurs at all.
