It’s no more embarrassing than it is arrogant when people were saying “it’s done” when we still needed 20 points (which was happening), or even 11.

It just means some people worry more than others.

Football is unpredictable. Nothing that’s gone before now matters towards what’s coming. City could just as likely end the season how we started it, as much as we could end the season winning every game.

We’ve displayed both extremes of brilliant and terrible over the last two seasons. When it really mattered last Summer we were unforgivably shit against Arsenal and Lyon, and we started this season terribly; we also finished second in the league and won the EFL Cup last season, and went on a 21 game winning run this season.

Either City, or neither City, could turn up to end this season. We could get 11 points in our reaming six games like we did in our opening six games and just get there on the final day, we could win every game and smash it, we could be somewhere in the middle. Nobody knows.

I’m not particularly worried, myself. I’m still quite calm but also realistic because it is definitely not done yet. Doesn’t matter how many points clear we are or what the odds are at the bookies; it’s never done until it’s mathematically done.
This , not over till it is ovef

This is today's reality. Forget our 8 point lead, it means fuck all. The rags are getting 84 points. Their only hard games on paper are Leicester and Liverpool and I don't see them troubling them. That means we need to win three and draw one of our six remaining games, that's if our goal difference stays superior. Suddenly, from coasting, that's a bit of a pressure situation. We've also got three cup games minimum to play too, more if we're successful in those games. I'm even more annoyed now losing to a ten man newly promoted club yesterday. The rotation/resting has backfired because it now means we can't do it for later games probably. Well we can but we risk blowing the league if we make as many changes as yesterday.

We just need to learn to defend their keeper throwing it to the left touchline and 10 seconds later we've conceded. Yesterday and the Rags almost identical second goals. And no, I'm not going to mention QPR's 2nd!!
I could see that Leeds goal coming as soon as the keeper threw the ball. I instantly felt a cold sweat.....
