i think they will suspend beting but after the derby, 9 points is doable (should the rags win) with 10 games left providing both clubs win midweek, but 15 points isnt recoverable, hope the maths are correct

A draw would have the rags on 54 if they beat palace, we'd need 6 wins.

I remember 2 seasons of combing through every fixture and permutation to try to see how we could pip spurs to 4th as well.

Look at it another way, the rags will be lucky to get 75 points, if we win against Wolves we would only need to draw our last 10 games of the season to get to the same total.

We will win the title without knowing it because it will still be mathematically possible to be caught.

To be honest, think four more wins will be enough. United will drop a load more points yet and Leicester’s injuries have probably put an end to their challenge. It’d be arse twitchingly close but can’t see United getting mid 70s.

Irrelevant anyway, it’s as good as done and I think we’ll get 90+.

Probably 7 league games before that one (deffo 6), so win them all and it’s guaranteed, but even if we didn’t, the points others are likely to drop mean that I reckon if we win 5 of those 7 (if the derby was one of the 5), then it would basically be done.

You might be right. Yet I clearly remember we trailed United in 2012 in April by what, 8-10 points? Still won it 93:20.

And I also clearly remember in our Centurion season when we could’ve won the title at home, leading 2-0 at halftime, we didn’t.

Again I’m with Pep. Most important game is Wolves on Tuesday. Etc. We will get there when we get there
