I agree, I also don’t want the players celebrating tonight with a big game on Tuesday. I’m not going to complain if the scousers win and acknowledge we’re in a very fortunate position but I feel like it’ll be more beneficial if we win the league next weekend.

If we manage to overcome PSG midweek and are crowned champions today, we end up with 4 meaningless games. Chelsea are scrapping for 4th and Madrid are in a title race, whoever goes through they would be arriving at the final with much more intensity whilst I imagine some of our players will be rested.

Nah, I want to see them crushed financially, no CL no transfer budget, Klopp is already making them noises in the press, probably means Salah is sold, weak sides or not the management & playing staff will still have to travel to the far reaches of Eastern Europe on a Thursday night, plays havoc with prem preparation & you end up playing Sunday a lot, which will get up the noses of their match attending fans, sos group etc

Couldn't care less about a guard of honour, winning the title is all that matters and Chelsea can all line up doing a Bernardo and drinking coffee for all I care.
