How come you don't apparently know that City hold the all time record as the worst ever to defend their top league title, by getting relegated in 1938 the season after winning the old First Division title in 1937? That's a proud record that I hope will stand forever: only City could be so mercurial.

Correct , i believe we were also the top scorers in the league that season , some achievement.

How've you worked that one out mate?
Because if the Rags lose today, the maximum they would be able to get would be 81 points which reduces the total we need to get to 82... ∴, 8 points required.

Play like yesterday and it could happen
Thats the scary part

No it couldn't.

Im starting to wonder how many people actually watched the game and how many just ignored everything after Leeds goal. We absolutely dominated Leeds and created about 8 gilt edged chances to score outside the goal.

Play that same 11 against Newcastle, Brighton, Villa without Grealish and Palace and they'd easily win the 3 games needed to seal the title.

It was one of those days where we create a million chances and none of them go in for whatever reason. Its happened a few times a year every season since 2017. It happens, half the board pretend like the sky is falling and then we carry on winning.

It certainly doesn't happen 5 times in a row.

I get what your saying and yes maybe the reactions are ott including me.
However Leeds for me were not a team to select and say fuck it let's make loads of changes.
For me yesterday was a game for going full strength l, get the game won and make changes.
The pep love in with Bielsa just like the love in a few weeks ago with the rags boss was to be quite honest embarrassing. Is it any coincidence we lost both games? Obsessing with the opposition manager isn't good.

26 wins in 28 games.

We need 80 points to be sure in my opinion, that shite over in Trafford are capable of winning games they shouldn`t but they will not get 80 points.

Sorry but I don't know how anyone can actually have this opionion. Leeds was the most obvious game to rotate and rest as many players as possible.

This is our run of games. Bold are knockouts.

Dortmund
Leeds
Dortmund
Chelsea FA Cup Semi

Villa
Spurs Cup Final
CL Semi Final

Palace
CL Semi Final
Chelsea
Newcastle
Brighton
Everton

FA Cup Final
CL Final

So we can't rest players in the game before Leeds, nor the 2 after, so you obviously do it at Leeds. And he's going to do exactly the same against Villa if we get through the CL and FA Cup games, so I hope no one is going to act surprised when it happens.
