If we hadn’t let in last minute goals against Leeds and Chelsea we would now be champions if only on goal difference. Both results were very unprofessional.

However after watching us since the mid 1950’s, nothing surprises me.
Should have seen the game out on both occasions. There were barely seconds left even yesterday someone should have taken a yellow and stopped them from going inside the box. We allowed them to run freely in 2nd half. That is what hurt actually. Penalties are missed players are rotated but to not stop their attack on tracks in final minute is stupid

, I'm 6ft 7 weigh 19st, black belt in judo no mibs have come near me at old Trafford nevermind a canal in adlington

That's all bollocks, I'm staying in now, going back to bed, your right them fuckers get everywhere :)
MIB's love hanging out in Poynton and Alderley Edge as our Wayne and Ed found out!!!

Very annoying that in two games. Losing in the last minute is sickening. Doing it twice in a month even more so! I’ve still not forgiven Bellamy for that pass in the Derby that led to the ginger pig scoring the winner in the 92nd min!!
You and me both, the fact it happened on my birthday means it is etched indelibly on my mind for eternity.

Agree. But Mendy was so far away from what was going on around him that he was not even capable of committing a foul.

I would like to think that our points cushion and the pursuit of the holy grail explains why we failed to close out those games. Let's hope if there is a late goal in the Final its us that will get it.

The price you pay for trying to win them all is 2 from 3 with a shot at the 4th? I'm failing to see any price there...

You're talking like we've just thrown away the league, you are aware we are 1 game from the title right?

And next season you want us to have a smaller squad and only go after 2 of the 4 despite proving this season that you can go after them all (whether we win thr champions league or not this season won't be determined by us chasing other trophies earlier) It's an unpopular opinion because its lunacy mate.
2/3 and a 1-0 defeat in a semi and the final, which was played in an incredibly compact couple of weeks because one game was moved later into the season.

And the solution to the semi defeat is to lose....in the 3rd round? By playing the players we've played? This forum sometimes.

Disappointing that we didn't wrap it up yesterday but i think we can confidently say the Premier League will be back in or hands before we play again.

Failing and struggling in other competitions, sf of the fa Cup, final of the cl,winners of the cc cup, going to win the league, I'll take that struggle and fail every single season, I understand people are pissed off, I lost it yesterday straight after the game, but I'm over it and can see more clearly

Sorry don't agree entirely.
What if RAGS win next 3, that will then make them 4 behind us before we go to Newcastle.
Hes made things unnecessarily awkward, trust me they will find a way of winning them 3 games and it will be an anxious finish.
I think it will go to the Brighton game.
Livid isn't the word.
Catch a fucking grip

If you are so confident United will take 9 points from the next three games in five days I have a question for you...how much have you bet on it?

i dont blame pep for yesterday. i blame the players that are on £100k+ a week that just didnt look arsed yesterday. Players that you'd hope would want to stake a claim of playing the champions league final and give pep a selection headache.

Unfortunately, majority of those that played yesterday know full well they are 2nd string and that was undoubtedly clear in the way they played.

3 points to win the league? pfft, they played that like a pre-season friendly.

Think every city fan knows our squad depth is an absolute myth, play a side like the one yesterday or vs leeds and we'd struggle vs nearly every team in the league.

You have got a legitimate claim here. We will win the league but you are right in that pep has made a hash of closing it out due to his team selection. League should have been over after Leeds.

All because he's too arrogant for his own good
Someone said to me a few weeks ago that pep is arrogant, I didn't agree with that claim.
However after the 2 Chelsea games I think that claim is justified.

Pep didn't miss a penalty, pep didn't tell rodri to give the ball away instead of clipping it up the line, pep wasn't operating the VAR for sterlings penalty claim. 3 incidents that should have won us the game happened on the pitch and all were completely out of peps control. Stop giving players who are earning a fortune and referees who have the best technology available to them a free ride and blaming Pep.

Chance to win the league with 3 games to spare, won the league cup, FA cup semi finalists, and champions league finalists.
All the above with Sergio out for most of the season and no pre season to speak of.

How many of the professional bed wetters would have said “no thanks, not good enough” if offered the above In August?

Football is cyclical and one day in the future we will be shit again, struggling to make top half of the premiership, fighting relegation.

Think back to these days then and ask yourself “was i a spoilt bastard?”

How ironic it would be if we won it at Newcastle again,53 years after 1968.5+3 =8 for Colin Bell looking down on us with pride.
